When Chariss and her wizard guardian Hrazon of Mon’dore flee Treown to escape Lord Jamieson Drake, they arrive on the doorstep of Hleo-Arcana, the Taiman estate on the southeast coast of the continent of Onweald. Chariss has overexerted herself performing the feat of teleporting the two of them so far in one day, and collapses near death with telabyrinth poisoning.
